Angel Armor
A product story told through footage, graphics, and sound
My Angel Armor work came through Front Range Media. I worked with Chris Wright and the production team on promotional videos and graphics for the client, OtterBox, with filming in its warehouse in Fort Collins, Colorado. The assignment brought together the production setting, vehicle imagery, and the post-production work needed to shape the material into finished videos.
My work included video production, editing, motion graphics, photography and image editing, audio mixing, and post-production. The work shown here connects those disciplines: footage from the location, graphics within the finished presentation, and audio and color work supporting the final videos.

From a warehouse location to a controlled presentation
The production photographs show the environment behind the finished work. Vehicles share the warehouse floor with lighting stands, diffusion surfaces, camera equipment, monitors, and crew. Those images make the scale of the setup visible and provide context that a viewer of the finished promotion would not normally see.
The monitor views are particularly useful: they show the relationship between the location and the camera image. A large working environment becomes a framed composition. Lighting and the choice of view determine what the audience sees, while the equipment and activity outside the frame support that presentation.
The behind-the-scenes gallery below preserves those details as part of the project story. It shows the work around the image as well as the subject in front of the camera.

Three vehicle-focused promotional videos
The video collection presents Angel Armor work associated with the Interceptor, Charger, and Tahoe. Each gives the vehicle and product subject its own sequence and visual treatment, while remaining part of the same body of promotional work.
Watch the three promotional videos below. Movement, editing, graphics, pacing, and sound work together to give each vehicle-focused presentation its own character.

Post-production connected the pieces
Deliverables included finished video files, broadcast-ready video and audio, and print-ready images. Image and video color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics were among the supporting services. These are separate craft tasks, but the viewer experiences them together in the finished piece.
A successful presentation asks those parts to work in concert. The footage establishes the subject. The edit organizes its progression. Graphics provide another layer of information, and sound shapes the experience of watching. This project is an example of that combined production work.
A collaboration worth crediting
I appreciate Chris Wright and Front Range Media for including me in this assignment and other projects. The production photographs and finished videos belong together in the case study because they show both the collaborative setting and the resulting creative work.
