Golden Orchard
A welcoming website design for senior living
Golden Orchard Living needed a contemporary WordPress website design with consistent identity standards and information that was easy to read and navigate. The work combined website mockups, page layout, graphic design, content migration, image selection, and custom icons.
The visual direction uses warm orange accents, open white areas, and large lifestyle imagery. The opening design pairs an image of an older couple with the line “Where Wellness Meets Happiness,” establishing the tone before introducing the community information.
Helping visitors explore locations
The full-page mockup presents Greenwood Village and Wheat Ridge in separate sections. Each pairs community imagery and introductory text with a map and a Learn More action.
The alternating arrangement gives the locations equal attention while breaking the page into readable parts. Visitors can move from the broader introduction to a specific community without searching through one long block of text.
A consistent visual language
Orange ties the identity, navigation, section backgrounds, buttons, and small graphic elements together. The sun-and-field motif in the Golden Orchard identity supports the warm presentation, while the white sections give the photographs and headings space.
The design continues through sections about visiting and everyday engagement, then leads into a contact area. The full-page sample shows how those sections form a complete journey from introduction to inquiry.
Designing the practical details
The project included layout deliverables and supporting website assets, with a coordinated palette and theme. Content migration and consistent identity standards helped connect the updated visual direction to the information the site needed to carry.
