Skyline Products

Skyline builds the massive electronic infrastructure that powers America's highways (Dynamic Message Signs) and fuel stations (Scroll/LED Pricing).
While Skyline dominated the physical manufacturing space, their digital footprint did not reflect their engineering supremacy. Search visibility for critical high-value keywords was contested, and the existing web architecture was not converting technical traffic into enterprise leads.
I was tasked with a full-scale Technical SEO overhaul and Enterprise Web re-architecture. The goal was binary: Secure the #1 Google Ranking for their core product lines and turn the website into a relentless lead-generation engine.
Making complex products easier to understand
An electronic sign is both a physical product and part of a larger operating system. Its marketing has to help a buyer understand what the hardware does, how it is managed, and what support is available after installation. My work brought web content, product literature, visual presentation, and sales materials into the same conversation.
The collection below shows that range: price-sign brochures, LED product sheets, SignAdvantage materials, on-site service information, product presentations, event invitations, and a visitor welcome guide. Together, they document the everyday work of maintaining a manufacturer's public face across several audiences and formats.
Product literature with a job to do
The price-sign brochure provides a broader introduction to the product family. The LED and SignAdvantage sheets give individual offerings their own space, while the on-site services sheet addresses the support side of the relationship. Each format serves a different point in the conversation, from initial interest to a more focused product discussion.
These pieces require more than attractive imagery. Product names, specifications, supporting explanations, and calls to action must be organized so that readers can find the information they came for. Revisions also have to remain consistent with the surrounding family of materials. The dated examples in this gallery show the ongoing nature of that work.
A brand that travels between screens and print
The SignAdvantage identity and device presentations place the product within a recognizable visual system. The iPad and iPhone mockups show presentation across different screen formats; the product images make the hardware itself part of the story. The Skyline 3D Mockup video below adds a moving presentation to the still-image portfolio.
Trade-show invitations, launch cards, and Murphy Summit posters extend that system into event communications. A visitor welcome guide and job-fair piece bring the same attention to the company experience beyond product sales. Large-format displays, small printed pieces, and web graphics each need their own composition while still belonging to the same organization.
The connected portfolio
Skyline's hardware and PriceAdvantage's software marketing are closely related parts of this body of work. Explore both pages to see how product communication, identity, conference materials, digital content, and motion fit together. The gallery below retains the original collateral so that the work can be examined in detail.
