303 Bed Bugs
303 Bed Bugs is a pest-control project presented through educational graphics with a deliberately direct visual language. The original artwork turns a complicated subject into two compact, vertically organized pieces: a reproduction sequence and a lifecycle diagram.
Make the information visible
The graphics use red, yellow, black, and white to establish a strong hierarchy. Bold headings identify the subject immediately. Alternating panels divide the content into manageable steps, while simple insect silhouettes provide a repeating visual reference.
Rather than asking readers to work through a dense paragraph, each panel gives a single idea its own space. The reproduction graphic builds a sequence over time; the lifecycle graphic arranges successive stages from top to bottom. The shared color palette and layout make them read as a connected pair.
A consistent system for two different explanations
The two pieces solve related communication problems in different ways. One emphasizes progression and quantity; the other emphasizes stages and scale. Both use icons, short labels, and sharply separated sections to help the eye move through the information.
The artwork below is preserved as historical project material. It is presented here to show the visual communication work and original layout, rather than as current treatment advice. The hotel-room cover connects that communication to a recognizable setting where the subject matters to the audience.
