A website built for continuity and easier management

The Business Transition Group helps closely held business owners plan for succession, an eventual exit, and a transition to the next generation. Its website needed to present that work clearly and give the team a platform it could update and manage.

This project was completed through Sublime Creations, beginning with the website mockup and continuing into the WordPress build. The work included moving content from SharePoint, converting and organizing documents, updating images, and carrying the business’s presentation into a more manageable publishing system.

A clear introduction to the business

The visual design uses the company’s gold-and-charcoal identity alongside a large bridge image. The composition gives the introductory message room to breathe, with About Us and Contact Us actions visible over the image.

The bridge provides a fitting visual connection to transition planning: a route between one stage and the next. The navigation then gives visitors direct access to services, work, clients, the team, testimonials, the blog, and contact information.

Moving from SharePoint to WordPress

The migration involved more than copying pages. Existing content and documents needed to be brought into the new structure while maintaining continuity. Redundant materials were consolidated, documents were converted, and consistent identification standards helped organize the information.

Digital forms supported the site’s practical needs. Password-protected client pages formed part of the requested website scope, allowing the public business presentation and client-specific information to occupy distinct areas.

Design and implementation working together

The mockup established the visual direction; the WordPress build made that direction into an editable website. Image updates, content organization, and document handling were addressed alongside the page design, keeping the finished presentation connected to the material the business needed to publish.

The goal was a coherent website that the client could maintain as its information changed. The examples below show the original website presentation and its application in a desktop mockup.
