Casale Law
A law-firm website built in collaboration
Casale Law is the portfolio entry for the Casale • Coffee • Nojima law-firm website in Los Angeles. My original project notes record that I helped build the site for Mike Raffeld of World Office. This was a collaborative web assignment, with the firm's identity and professional information brought into a clear online presentation.
The archived screen preserves the actual site. The firm's monogram and name establish the opening identity, followed by an executive summary and supporting business information. The restrained color treatment and compact layout keep the emphasis on the organization and what the visitor needs to learn about it.
An identity-led opening screen
The circular monogram gives the page a recognizable focal point. Its blue lettering contrasts with the light background, and the surrounding text provides the direct reading of the firm's name. That pairing helps the visual identity and the written information work together.
A professional-services website needs to make information easy to find as well as convey a coherent identity. In this period design, the opening presentation combines the firm's name, an introductory summary, and contact information in a single view. The archived artwork below shows the original presentation rather than a reconstruction.
The documented contribution
This case study preserves the scope described in my original portfolio: assisting with the website build through World Office. The firm's archived identity is included as context for that web work. The original screen lets the viewer examine the relationship between the brand treatment and the page content, while the current featured cover gives the project a consistent place in the portfolio gallery.
