ET Performance

A web presentation for performance products

ET Performance is Ted Shrode's performance-products enterprise. My original portfolio includes its website, and the archived opening screen presents both automotive and motorcycle subjects. The assignment brings a technical product business into a recognizable digital frame, with the ET identity leading the presentation.

The original screen uses a dark background, bright lettering, and a prominent wing-like ET mark. Automotive and motorcycle imagery establish the two visible branches of the opening page. That division gives visitors a direct visual way to recognize the subject most relevant to them.

An identity suited to a performance audience

The mark's horizontal form and repeated lines create an impression of movement. Its bright treatment stands out against the black frame, while the compact Performance and Racing Products lettering completes the name. The archived identity image below makes those relationships easier to inspect than the smaller version in the website screen.

The website uses the same visual vocabulary around the product presentation. Strong contrast and a focused opening composition keep the business identity visible while the automotive and motorcycle content supply the practical subject matter.

The original website work

The gallery pairs the archived website with its identity artwork. It documents the original presentation without repeating unsupported performance superlatives from period promotional copy. The focus is the web-design work and the way the visual frame communicates the company's subject.

The current featured cover places the project in a performance-customization setting. The original materials preserve the actual website entrance and the brand treatment used within it.
